Clumber - Brize Norton

Extensive garden surrounded by fields with a hosta bed and various other beds. There is a large pergola which goes down the length of the back garden with jasmines, grape vines and wisterias. We have a large garden pond served by a running stream with various planting to the banks of the stream. Various areas of seating around the garden.

Brize Norton is a Domesday Village in the Cotswolds not far from Burford and Bampton (of Downton Abbey fame).

We have a Norman Church with  interesting features including our crusader knight and  RAF Brize Norton squadron standards. There is a flower festival in the church on the day we open our gardens.

One of our Open Gardens has a listed Dovecote.

We offer a pleasant afternoon for visitors with tea and cakes provided by the church in the Elder Bank Hall and Grange Farm.   There are also two pubs.

Local attractions include Crocodiles of the World.
